If time travel was possible, what year would you travel to?
If time travel was possible, I would travel to the future. I’m really curious about how the world is gonna be different from now after hundreds of years. Do people still use phones, electronic devices, or is there gonna be more advanced technology?
If you has the power to change one thing in the world, what would it be?
If I have the power to change one thing in the world, it would probably be different languages. It’s really hard to communicate with people from other countries since we all use a different language, and when people immigrate to another country they’re going to have a hard time adapting to the language over there.
What is one of your favorite memories or events from HIM?
My favorite memory in HIM is the first event I’ve attended, 2016 Eggstravaganza. That was the first time in my life volunteering, everyone in HIM was super nice and caring, I felt like I was in a big family. My shift was to wear the cow custom and interact with kids, I was very happy when the kids all come to me and hug me.
What is your favorite part of volunteering?
My favorite part of volunteering is that I can help my community and make it better, so I truly feel like I’m part of it. The happiness of helping others is also the part I like about volunteering.
How has your experience been working with HIM?
Heart in Motion is like a second family, everyone here is super caring and nice, we can work along with each other very well. I met a lot of new friends in HIM, and it’s fun to volunteer with my friends.
What is the most valuable lesson you have learned in your life?
The most valuable lesson I’ve learned in my life is the sense of helping. When you help people out, you feel happier yourself. This is the reason why I started to volunteer and help my community out.
What is your favorite TV show and character?
I don’t have one cuz I don’t really watch TV.
If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? Why?
If I could only eat one offs for the rest of my life, it would probably be ice-cream. I know ice cream sounds very unhealthy lol but I just love it so much! Whenever I get ice-cream it makes me happier:)
What is one of your favorite childhood memories?
My favorite childhood memory is when my grandparents drove me to inner Mongolia when I was six. It took us 12 hours to drive from the city we were at to inner Mongolia. That was my first time ever staying in a car for longer than 10 hours, the scenery along the way is very pretty, we also passed thru a no man’s zone.
How has HIM affected your life so far?
HIM had taught me a lot of new skills, such as how to interact with people, how to be a leader, and other skills such as managing big events. These skills helped me to communicate with people better and be more outgoing.
